It was a bittersweet moment for the band at the 2025 Northern of England Regional Championships held at the Gala Theatre in Durham recently. 

Against stiff opposition the band were awarded a highly creditable 3rd place. Whilst this is a great result it does mean that we just miss out on a coveted qualifying place at the National Finals.

Under the excellent leadership of Stephen Malcolm the band have  worked extremely hard preparing for the contest and on the day produced a stylish and confident performance.  

Alas, a top 2 place wasn't to be but we have taken great heart from the superb teamwork shown by the band in the run-up to the contest and are looking forward to moving on to the next challenge with a really strong team and a positive outlook.
